Clothes For Jellycat Bunny: Sweater & Nightcap








Materials:
  • Red Heart Super Saver in the following colors: Aruba Sea, Aran
  • size US 8 / UK 6 (5mm) knitting needles
  • yarn needle

Instructions:

SWEATER

Sleeves:

Make 2.
Start with Aran.
CO 14 sts using crochet cast on.
Work 3 rows K1 P1 ribbing.
*Switch to Aruba Sea.
Work 2 rows St st, beginning with a K row.
Switch to Aran.
Work 2 rows St st, beginning with a K row.**
Repeat from * to ** once.
Switch to Aruba Sea.
Work 2 rows St st, beginning with a K row.
Switch to Aran.
Knit.
Work 2 rows K1 P1 ribbing.
Cast off in K1 P1.
With wrong sides held together, sew sides of sleeves.
Weave in ends.

Front & Back Panels:

Make 2.
Start with Aran.
CO 22 sts using crochet cast on.
Work 3 rows K1 P1 ribbing.
*Switch to Aruba Sea.
Work 2 rows St st, beginning with a K row.
Switch to Aran.
Work 2 rows St st, beginning with a K row.**
Repeat from * to ** once.
***Switch to Aruba Sea.
K1, Ssk, K to last 3 sts, K2tog, K1.
Purl.
Switch to Aran.
K1, Ssk, K to last 3 sts, K2tog, K1.
Purl.****
Repeat from *** to **** once.
Switch to Aruba Sea.
Work 2 rows St st, beginning with a K row.
Switch to Aran.
Knit.
Work 2 rows K1 P1 ribbing.
Cast off in K1 P1.
With wrong sides held together, sew sides of panels together, leaving spaces for sewing the sleeves in place.
Weave in ends.
Turn right side out.

NIGHTCAP

Front & Back Panels:

Make 2.
Start with Aran.
CO 20 sts using crochet cast on.
Work 3 rows K1 P1 ribbing.
*Switch to Aruba Sea.
Work 2 rows St st, beginning with a K row.
Switch to Aran.
Work 2 rows St st, beginning with a K row.**
Repeat from * to ** two times.
***Switch to Aruba Sea.
K1, Ssk, K to last 3 sts, K2tog, K1.
Purl.
Switch to Aran.
Work 2 rows St st, beginning with a K row.****
Repeat from *** to **** 6 times. (6 sts remain)
Switch to Aruba Sea.
K1, Ssk, K2tog, K1.
Purl.
Switch to Aran.
Work 2 rows St st, beginning with a K row.
Ssk, K2tog.
Purl.
K2tog.
Cut yarn and draw yarn end through remaining loop to finish.
With wrong sides held together, sew sides of hat, leaving holes on either side for the ears.
Weave in ends.
Turn right side out.
